How to Compare Drone Quotes

A checklist to make sure you are comparing quotes like for like — deliverables, accuracy, turnaround and exclusions.

Scope

Same area, same number of visits, same assets. If one quote is per acre and another per day, convert them to a total.

List the files each provider will hand over — raw imagery, processed maps, reports, videos — and the formats and resolution.

For measurement work, compare stated absolute and relative accuracy and how it is checked (ground control, check points).

When will you receive the data after the flight, and how are weather delays handled?

Travel, permits, waivers, re-flights, data hosting and extra revisions are common extras. Ask for them to be listed.

Use the network search to pick the right sector directory and locate providers near you.
